District near Downtown Dallas.
I, Jean C. Astie ("John"),
am the founder and owner.
My experience in manufacturing
started at an early age. The
family business has been
architectural metal and furniture
manufacturing for many generations.
We have been located here on
Dragon Street since 1992. In 2002
I left Bell Helicopter (as a 3D artist)
to take over the reins of the family
business full time. My background
in computers and 3D led to a natural
progression towards modernizing our
production methods. I am a firm
believer that the only way, we as a
country, can remain competitive
in a global manufacturing marketplace
is by leveraging our use and understanding
of advanced production techniques which
rely more on skill and expertise
and less on manual labor.
My facility includes a 11,700 sq/ft
production area and an additional
800 sq/ft showroom with offices.
